Présentation du programme

Le TriptiC Léo Lagrange is a center where 16-to-25-year-olds can find help with their projects, ideas and needs, established in Eastern Nantes since 2012. It aims at reducing inequalities and discrimination, supporting young people in their development and projects and encouraging encounters through an inclusive space in which young people can find a place: 1. for expression and cultural exploration 2. where they can experiment, act and carry out projects 3. where they are listened to and can get information on their rights Locations The mission will take place at both the TriptiC, set in the Bottière neighbourhood centre, and the Espace 16-25, set in the Locomotive neighbourhood centre, in the east of Nantes. The volunteer will be required to travel around Nantes and sometimes further away depending on the project.

À propos de l'hébergement

The volunteer will be housed in flatsharing with our others volunteers. Transportation: volunteer will receive a monthly bus pass that will allow him to travel from his accomodation to the youth center. Money: the volunteer receive a monthly allowance for the food and pocket money

À propos des activités de loisirs

On-arrival and mid-term seminars organized by the French Agency. The volunteer can join French group classes (subject to availabilities at certain periods). As well as other trainin related to volunteering depending on the level of french.

Exigences

The Participant profile: Help organise and run the centre’s community events: Debates and artistic workshops, information and awareness-raising sessions, cultural outings, etc., depending on the volunteer's interests. A strong focus will be made on intercultural activities: the volunteer will have the opportunity to present their country and offer activities to promote opening to others and sharing experiences. Examples of activities: visiting the city, exhibitions, sport activities, cooking, games,... Support the team in welcoming users: presenting the place, making appointments, answering the phone, leading informal activities (games, debates), digital support Take part in the structure's overall communication: photos, videos, posts on social networks (Instagram and Facebook), interviews and portraits of young people, etc. Carry out a personal project: the volunteer will be given the opportunity to develop their own action, project or event towards our users, depending on their interest and what they see fitting for the organisation.
